I spend my days talking to outstanding individuals doing amazing things in and outside Ghana. These great people are defying the odds, raising the bar and inspiring so many people with their resilience, dedication, passion, can-do spirit and dreams.
For instance; today, I spoke to a young woman in tech who is building a business with her sister with the vision of transforming the mindset of youth in Africa and building their capacity in digital marketing, tech and entrepreneurship.
They work with tech talents all over the world to develop tech solutions to diverse clients and as result get very little sleep because of the time difference across continents.
These ladies are always up and ready to take on the challenges of not just running the business but the tough task of dealing with people of different cultures and work ethics; they say the most challenging talents to work with by far are Ghanaians; most are unreliable and unprofessional which is worrying indeed. Story for another day!
I am enjoying this stage of my life; being more interested in others, knowing what they are doing, offering any help I can give and telling their stories to inspire others.
