Mind your own business (Don’t get unnecessarily entangled in people’s business, there is the tendency to feel overwhelmed or overly burdened by people’s issues or persuaded to assist even when you genuinely can not).
Don’t make too many new friends, be strategic about your friendships and network (The more people you know, the tendency of being asked for financial assistance, which you probably genuinely don’t have)
Be frugal and avoid unnecessary expenses (don’t bother if people call you chisel or stingy)
Build strategic alliances with people who can support you and you can support when the need arises (ask for help before you critically need it)
Learn to cook (eating out should be in celebration of an achievement or marketing purposes to land a deal)
Avoid driving long distances if it’s not for business, family or emergencies (conserve your fuel)
Fill your tank and top up whenever it goes down by a bar, the less air that enters your tank, the longer the patrol stays
Build an active and small support system of friends and family who you can vent your fraustrations on and will be there for you.
Find a side gig if you work full time and if you are unemployed, look for someone or a business to serve, even if it’s remotely… Don’t be idle for whatever reason!!!
Get close to your God, He will give you hope for tomorrow, peace for today and strength to carry on regardless!!!
